Challenges and opportunities that arise as a result of the immense technological development of devices in the consumer area.

This document investigates the challenges and opportunities that arise as a result of the immense technological development of devices in the consumer area and that will be further strengthened with future applications in the Industrie 4.0 environment. The focus here is on mobile devices (tablets and smartphones), as these now no longer only have a direct impact on the personal daily life of many users, but, thanks to their performance and interfaces, represent a key element in human-to-machine and human-to-human communication.
