Information on the Use, Transport and Disposal of SF6 and Equipment Filled with SF6 for the Supply of Electrical Energy

This user guide is based on the current legal requirements in Germany and is intended to help reduce the complexity of handling SF6-filled equipment and provide a simple overview of the necessary labelling requirements in the relevant areas such as hazardous substances, dangerous goods, further use/reuse and waste. On the one hand, the guideline explains the guidelines and laws to be observed when classifying used SF6 gas and SF6 filled equipment as waste. On the other hand, the guideline also describes the procedure when used SF6 gas and SF6 filled equipment are returned at the end of their life as used products for re-use.
