Whitepaper: Basic cybersecurity in networked buildings

The cross-cutting issue of cybersecurity is top priority at ZVEI.

Networking and digitalisation cannot be designed without cyber security in products and applications. This is the self-image of the manufacturing companies organised in the ZVEI. Even more, it is the common aspiration that cyber security becomes a natural component of product, system and service quality. Against this background, there is a need for action.

With this white paper, the ZVEI members outline considerations for further development, the state of the art, processes and organisational structures. This is important and urgent, because cyber security is a central basis for customer trust, the functioning of business processes and a society that continues to digitalise as a whole.

Against this background, the white paper represents the clear commitment of the ZVEI member companies to resolutely continue along the path they have already begun.
