Electro-mobility and the energy transition

For the ZVEI, electric vehicles are a key to the climate- and environmentally-compatible mobility of the future. Reliable and constant general conditions in particular are essential to make Germany the lead supplier in this field.

For the ZVEI, electromobility is an important milestone on the way to a successful energy revolution.

Electro-mobility creates new value-creation chains, which include amongst others the energy industry as well as IT and mobility service-providers. To ensure competitiveness on the market, it is important to strengthen all parts of the value-creation chain in Germany and extend it cohesively.

Technological development and the implementation of research and development in innovations nevertheless require reliable and constant general conditions and long-term, stable support with sound financing.

  • Ensuring planning reliability through consistent state subsidisation.
