5G Services Operated by Industrial Applications

Join and get insights about the 5G integration with important operational technologies and requirements, such as Time-Sensitive Networks (TSN), Digital Twin, Security and 5G capabilities for Industry 4.0.

The fourth stage of the industrial revolution, also known as smart manufacturing, heralds an entirely new era. Its goal is to significantly improve the flexibility, versatility, usability and efficiency of production systems and to make the vision of smart factories come true. In this context, wireless communication – in particular 5G – is a key enabler. It provides powerful and pervasive communication between machines, people and objects.

5G-ACIA’s mission is to ensure the best possible application of 5G technology and of 5G networks for the industrial domain. Join this 5G-ACIA Webinars to explore how 5G-ACIA is working on the framework design for Industrial 5G and ask your questions to the experts from 5G-ACIA.

Smart manufacturing will benefit strongly from the advanced communication capabilities of the 5G technology. 5G has major advantages on machine-type communication to fulfill the demanding requirements on low latency and very high reliability. In addition to that, factory operators must be able to operate private 5G networks which offer these exceptional capabilities. Join us for our web seminar “5G Services Operated by Industrial Applications” in order to get the latest overview of what capabilities 5G network expose to serve the industrial applications needs.

The Web Seminars are free of charge. We look forward to meeting you!

5G-ACIA

The 5G Alliance for Connected Industries and Automation (5G-ACIA) has been established to serve as the central and global forum for addressing, discussing, and evaluating relevant technical, regulatory, and business aspects with respect to 5G for the industrial domain. It reflects the entire ecosystem, encompassing all relevant stakeholder groups from the OT (operational technology) industry, the ICT (information and communication technology) industry, academia and other relevant groups (such as authorities or associations).

The overriding objective of 5G-ACIA is to maximize the applicability of 5G technology in connected industries, in particular the manufacturing and process sectors. 5G-ACIA works to ensure that 5G standardization and regulation efforts adequately consider the interests and unique characteristics of the industrial domain.
