The Transformers and Power Supplies Section represents the interests of the industry in the fields of economics, technology and standardisation vis-à-vis political decision-makers and the social environment.
The section represents manufacturers of all types of wound goods (transformers, chokes, transformers) and power supplies in all forms (from DIN rail systems to laboratory power supplies). It is divided into three specialist sections: Mains Transformers, UPS and Power Supplies and Switching Power Supplies/SMPS. The section cooperates at European level with the two industry associations CEMEP and EPSMA.
