New orders in the German electro and digital industry continued to rise in February 2026. However, with an increase of just under two percent compared to the previous year, growth was only moderate this time around. Nominal revenue rose in February compared to the same month a year earlier, while production declined once again.

Exports of the German electro and digital industry grew strongly in February 2026, more so than back in January. They soared by 9.2% (year over year) to a value of €21.3bn. Accumulated from January through February the sector’s aggregated deliveries abroad increased by 6.6%, arriving at €43.4bn.
