In March 2026, the German electro and digital industry recorded its best month so far this year. In addition to a double-digit increase in new orders, production in March was also higher than in the same month of the previous year. Sales also saw significant growth, which was evenly distributed between domestic and foreign markets.

Exports of the German electro and digital industry grew strongly in February 2026, more so than back in January. They soared by 9.2% (year over year) to a value of €21.3bn. Accumulated from January through February the sector’s aggregated deliveries abroad increased by 6.6%, arriving at €43.4bn.
