In March 2026, the German electro and digital industry recorded its best month so far this year. In addition to a double-digit increase in new orders, production in March was also higher than in the same month of the previous year. Sales also saw significant growth, which was evenly distributed between domestic and foreign markets.

Exports of the German electro and digital industry continued to advance strongly in March 2026, too. With narrow double-digit growth of 10.3% (year-on-year rate), our sector’s deliveries abroad reached €24.2bn in that month. In fact, it was the highest monthly figure ever recorded so far.
