The US electro market is the second largest in the world and its importance as a destination for German electro exports is only surpassed in by the Chinese market. Since the turn of the millennium, exports to the USA have grown strongly and the share of German electro goods in the US market has also increased. After difficulties in the 2000s and 2010s, the US market has recently recorded strong growth. Despite all the uncertainties, the USA is still in the top group of developed countries in the growth forecast for 2025.
