Our industry is closely linked to Europe. Over 60 per cent of all German electrical exports remain on the continent. Similarly, German electrical companies source a significantly higher proportion of goods from European countries than from the USA and China combined. Direct investment from Germany in Europe is almost twice as high as in the USA or China.
