ZVEI Foreign Trade Special Brazil

According to the World Bank, Brazil was the world’s tenth-largest economy in 2024 and the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. In the 2025 ranking, the Brazilian electro market even ranked ninth. Brazil is particularly important to the German electro and digital industry as an export market. After a period of weakness in the 2010s, exports to Brazil have grown very dynamically since 2020. There is hope that the Brazilian market will become even more important as trade barriers are dismantled.
