Towards a European Chips Act 2.0

The European Chips Act was an important response to the COVID-19 crisis and has brought remarkable progress. However, its implementation and geopolitical challenges show that a strategic framework is needed for the coming years.

In our position paper, we outline specific recommendations for further developing the European Chips Act – from clear objectives and governance structures to simplified financing processes, technological priorities and international cooperation.
