Towards a Future-Proof Economic Security Policy in Microelectronics
The world order is changing. Geopolitical conflicts and technological upheavals are transforming the landscape of global markets. Against this backdrop, microelectronics is emerging as a vital technology for resilience, sovereignty and security. In its position paper, 'For a Future-Proof Economic Security Policy in Microelectronics', the ZVEI sets out recommendations to bolster the economic resilience of Germany and Europe. The paper emphasises the pivotal role of microelectronics in this context. This is the ZVEI's first contribution to the debate on economic security and microelectronics. The ZVEI will continue to develop its position in line with the evolving geopolitical landscape and emerging insights.
